UBE Machinery Inc. completed assembly plant expansion

UBE Machinery Inc. (President: Ichiro Motoki), a subsidiary of Ube Machinery Co., Ltd.
(President: Hirofumi Miyauchi) has completed its assembly expansion and celebrated with an Opening Ceremony on October 25, 2018.

With the integration of the North American operations of the injection molding machine division with U-MHI Platech Co., Ltd. (President: Koji Kubota, formerly Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Plastic Technology Co., Ltd.) in January 2017, UBE Machinery Inc. now offers a more comprehensive product line-up.

Responding to the vigorous needs of large-sized servo hydraulic injection molding machines of space-saving type by US customers, we have expanded our assembly plant. With the completion of the expansion, doubling the supply capacity of large injection molding machines has been achieved.

Within the D-Bay expansion is a large-sized crane for heavy-duty injection molding machines of 3000t or more, a moveable dolly for heavy load transportation and state-of-the-art powder coat equipment.

In addition to assembling injection molding machines, we continue to grow our production system that contributes to quality and further incorporates our rebuild business.
